PRAYERS
Conversation with God . . .
Prayer is most powerful tool; Jesus us taught us to pray to God with "Our Father". There are many resources for prayer. Here we provide few Prayers and/or Scripture passages for reflection or meditation. We may change prayers based on liturgical seasons and needs. Click on blue button or scroll down for different prayers.
AN ACT OF SPIRITUAL COMMUNION is a prayer often said when the Holy Eucharist is not accessible to an individual.
PRAYERS FOR THE SICK include the needs of sick in body, mind and spirit; also during these challenging times of the Coronavirus Pandemic, we have included in prayers for those suffering with the Coronavirus, those that have lost the battle with the virus, the vulnerable and more.
DIVINE MERCY CHAPLET The Chaplet is a devotion to the Divine Mercy based on the apparitions of Jesus by Saint Faustina Kowalska who is known as the Apostle of Mercy.
HOLY ROSARY The Rosary is simple combined prayers and meditations on mysteries of the life of Christ.
OUR FATHER-- (taught by Jesus)
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name;
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be doneon earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
ACT OF CONTRITION-- (repentence)
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended You and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because they offend you, my God, who are all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of your grace, to confess my sins, to do penance and to amend my life. Amen.
PRAYER TO HOLY SPIRIT
Come, Holy Spirit,
fill the hearts of your faithful,
and enkindle in us the fire of your love.
Send forth your Spirit and we shall be created,
and you shall renew the face of the earth.
Amen.
PRAYER TO RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT
O King of glory,
send us the Promise of the Father,
The Spirit of Truth.
May the Counselor who proceeds from You
enlighten us and infuse all truth in us,
as You have promised.
Amen.
PRAYER TO BLESSED SACRAMENT -- (before sleeping)
Beloved and dear Jesus, during the darkest nights you find yourself in solitude on the altars around the world, forgotten by many of the faithful who do not show the faith they profess, I turn to you tonight to accompany you and that you attend me.
Tonight I give you my whole heart, praying that their beats will transmit to you all the love I feel every time I adore you. You, beloved Lord, who spend the nights awake under the sacramental devices without your kind love resting watching over the sinners of this world.
Beloved Jesus, use my heart as a light that is always burning for your merciful love. Take care of the world, of the religious, of the souls who cannot find a way, of the sick who so much need consolation, of the living, of the dead and especially of this soul who has become your faithful follower ready to serve you.
Blessed be you for eternity, beloved Jesus, sanctified be your heart in the tabernacles around the whole world, may it always be your will, I trust in it eternally, and there is no doubt in my heart. Amen.
